Problem :

Too many servers and no more storage in a large organisation? Time consuming to manage? Old hardware and slow?

Solution : offer this new type of technology, this allowed us to remove 9 servers and replace it with 5 new servers. Each new server only had 320GB of storage just used to boot the windows 2003 and allow AD to run. These servers were backed by a storage server of 12Tb this allows the client to size the data allocation on the fly in real time, and offers easier manageability, control, if a system drops this can be solved by offering a iscsi termination (software based) and quick recovery.

8Gb Ram, 12Tb Storage, Dual Quad core 2.8 Cpus on ISCSI technology, Dual 1000BaseT cards 'Teamed' together for 4Gb Duplex connection.
